A program of The City of Albuquerque Department of Arts and Culture

PRIMARY PROGRAM

Each summer, students (ages 8-12) train with national and international circus professionals from basic to advanced circus arts in a bilingual, physically intensive and artistically rigorous curriculum. Curriculum includes juggling, stilt-walking, clowning, aerials, acro-balance, music, and dance, in addition to the exploration of compassion, collaboration, tenacity, inclusion, leadership, environmental stewardship and more! The program culminates in free Circus Share Day performances for families and community members.

(4 weeks, 35 hours per week; June, July)

July 20, 5:30pm: Circo Globo presents EL VUELO! Our final performance of the 2023 Summer Program, at the Balloon Museum: 9201 Balloon Museum Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113

July 22, 5:30pm: S.T.E.A.M. Nights of the Balloon Museum! Our CircoLab program featuring youth leaders will perform at 6pm. Hands-on activities and circus demonstrations! Live music and food trucks and joy!

We are committed to love, humor, and fun. Our goal is to build community with respect to safely develop and deepen our skills, explore culture, create performance, and inspire a sense of wonder and magic.
